A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on different areas of the body. While deep chemical peels deliver the deepest, longest-lasting results, they often require some downtime as your skin heels from this more extensive type of exfoliation.

- Recent cosmetic surgery or laser resurfacing
- Severe rosacea or acne
- Pregnancy
- Breast-feeding
- Sunburn
- Open sores or lesions
- Active Herpes simplex
